i was flashing a 1.0 wrt54g with a freeman 1.04 firmware and i noticed that the upgrade popup was gone.... then i lost connection...


i've tried doing the turn off and reset and turn on thing but it doesn't work...


 
I put a serial cable on mine so when i break it i can get direct access to the machine. You can also put a jtag connector on there which is even lower level access. Both require a bit of soldering and such.
