Anyone else looking forward to Brian Klug being on All About Android next Tuesday?

The only podcasts (not including free online lectures) I listen to regularly are the infrequent AnandTech ones - which are the best of any tech podcast - and the TWiT ones, especially All About Android, Windows Weekly, This Week in Google, and Security Now.

So I'm definitely looking forward to hearing the AAA podcast next week.
I enjoy commentary on current hardware and where the mobile computing industry is going.

(wasn't sure whether to post this here or in MD&G)

I'll be tuning in. I still wish Anandtech would produce their podcast more frequently.

The VergeCast is great. I stopped listening to AAA because it's always boring and their reviews are garbage. One time I emailed in and recommended an app. What's her face played with it for like 2 minutes on the air and immediately bashed it.

TNT every now and again when I don't have anything better to listen to.

That sucks if Gina ripped on your app recommendation :( . She's a developer, maybe she was looking at that point of view... in any case, apps are dependent on individual use, so even if someone doesn't like or use the same app you do you can just shrug it off. It's the way I feel especially since I'm more or less platform/ecosystem agnostic and very pragmatic when it comes to tech.

I find the show worthwhile for the different apps they mention, especially in the "Android Arena" in which they pit at least 3 different apps every week against each other for votes. Great way to discover new apps... it's how I discovered Giganticon :D Plus, Ron Richards is entertaining, and Jason Howell and Gina Trapani are fairly decent hosts. All three provide decent commentary, though I think they aren't anywhere near as technically inclined as the AnandTech staff (who is?). I have to check out The Verge's podcasts. I listen to a lot of stuff while commuting or at work.

Found this podcast from iMore from almost 3 months ago in which Brian Klug and Rene Ritchie talk about various topics. Mostly Apple related, but they delve into different phones, and the approaches Apple, Samsung, Nokia, HTC, et al have taken in current and past designs.

Really good discussion. Rene Ritchie I haven't heard of before, nor have I visited that site before (found it through a Google search) but he's quite knowledgeable as well, and the conversation they have is enlightening.

This was before Gina when that annoying super ugly bitch was on there.

Lol okay, that makes more sense then, because Gina seems pretty nice. I only started listening/watching when I got my HTC One. I think it's pretty interesting right now, and I certainly use some of the app recommendations.

The show got some attention recently because of Ron Richards' reaction to Google Glass. :)

I don't really like listening to reviews of software/gadgets. I'd rather read a good article. I prefer tech law and philosophy, or other "big picture" issues on audio/video.

He's on now! (preshow started)

The podcasts usually go up a few hours later for anyone who wants to download rather than stream.

Ha, they are discussing the pronunciation of Anand in "AnandTech".

It seems Brian likes purple. :D

Haha, purple haze. :D

Reminds me of Violet from Charlie (Willy Wonka) and the Chocolate Factory:

Podcast is up now. Video and audio links.
Really good episode, as expected. Some cool apps in the Arena. I'm downloading RadarScope now.
