Yes, but he was the voice guy for radio many stations across the USA and UK. Mr James was heard as the voice guy (show introductions and promos) for many Syndicated shows and local radio stations.

I've heard him plenty of times before.. 🙁

RIP 🙁

I wanna even say he may have done the Bubba the Love Sponge as well.

sounds familiar but all those radio guys have the same voice...

Because it's usually the same guy.

so every radio station in the whole US uses this one guy to make their station jingles or whatever you call them? i call bullshit.

Oh yeah, I know that guy. Heart attack at 48? Drinker, smoker, cocaine?

I've known a guy who died around the age of 50 from a heart attack. Almost every meal he ate involved tons butter, fried steak, etc. Rarely did he ever eat vegetables.

Not every radio station. But you realize that recording promos for a single station isn't exactly a full-time job. And you realize that a few companies (i.e. ClearChannel) control large numbers of radio stations. So it shouldn't be a big surprise that a few different guys are "the voice" of many radio stations across the country.

Ever notice that there isn't much variety in movie trailer voice-overs?

Did you not see the world USUALLY? Which can mean not always but quite often. I have traveled to all four corners of the USA, everywhere in between, and heard at least on one station or program the voice of Brian James.
