I hope the Jets win both games against the Patriots this year. (It probably wont happen but.....)

I just want to see how pissed Bellichick gets at Mangini this year

Sweet, as a die hard Jets fan, I think that's cool. I'll definitely have to buy tickets to games this season.

as a die hard fan, you should know it's still next to impossible to get tickets for even jets games.

Growing up a Vikings fan I don't know the Green Bay Packers without Brett Favre. Watching all this on Sportscenter is almost sad, almost like he's passed away or something 😕

HOLY SHIT no shit I can't believe it.

First thing I thought about when I saw the news (after holy shit) is that he's in the same division as NE now, so a big comeback story is unlikely.

I think that this team looks pretty good on paper, but its always hard to tell. He'll have Coles and Cotchery to throw to, a solid young line with D'Brickashaw blocking on the left, and potential talent at RB and TE. The defense could be pretty good with a hopefully motivated Shaun Rogers, Shaun Ellis, and Vernon Gholston.

I can't remember who's the offensive coordinator and which offense are they running there... I can't wait to see how this all turns out.

Damn it, they said he was going to the Bucs last night.

Poor Chad. Maybe Chad will call in a favor and have this attention whore whacked.

They are saying Chad might be released to free up cap room.

This is going to be like Joe Montana on the Cheifs. An ugly pimple that no one talks about on an otherwise sparkling career.

he led them to the playoffs both years... and they were pretty crappy teams too.

if they had shaun rogers, the Jets would be ridiculous (relatively). but he's on the Browns.

he should have stayed retired...brett farve belongs no where else besides the green bay packers...this entire thing ruined his perfect reputation and will be a terrible * on his career...i really hope he comes to his senses and retires...serously can you imagine dan marino or john elway out side of miami or denver...he just should have gotten some qb coach or front office job for the packers

For many people, Favre was the Packers. Sure there have been great players along the way, but the team most certainly will not be the same without him. The goal for a football team is to make it to the Superbowl and win it, period. Favre led them to within 1 field goal to the big dance, with one of his best years....and they tell him to take a hike.

Sure Favre seemed arrogant and whiny, but for sports players that IS their life. It's not just a game, it's their career. I will have to follow 2 teams now 🙁

What is kind of funny is that the afternoon radio show on 790theZone in Atlanta did a show on "Stuff your tired of hearing about". Obviously, Favre was at the top of the list. Obviously, this will dominate the world of sports talk for at least the rest of this week.

Well, hopefully this means the Bills slide down a notch in the AFC East 😛

And still, few remember and fewer care. See what we mean? Farve has zero class, imho.

I supported Aaron Rodgers from the beginning. I'm eager to see what he can bring to this offense now. While I will always remember #4 in true Green and Gold, it will be heartbreaking seeing him play with a different team.

Does that mean you'll post less? 😛

🙁

It just means that I'll be even more pissed off, and will take it out in P&N

Damn you, Brett Favre, daaaaaaamn you!

Everyone needs to quit crying more than Favre did during his 'retirement'. This works out best for everyone.

Forgot to mention Alan Faneca...
