Brett Favre demands trade from Packers

I think a number of NFL teams would still want him, but demanding to win NOW is getting unreasonable and Brett is looking like a whiner...

He should quit while he's on top

You guys are really foolish. Favre is still a top 10 QB, he just needs somebody decent to throw to. The whole GB team has been heading the wrong way. This is coming from a die-hard Vikings fan.

GB should be on the phone with every team in the league begging them to take Favre for a 4th round draft pick. This is their chance to get rid of the whining interception-machine.

Whose going to want him?

Da Bears.

After their QB's superbowl performance I would think the bears would be holding training camp for every man/woman between 21-32 to find a replacement.

But they are far too cheap. Lance Briggs ?

Raiders have their QB now.

Redskins need help but Miami could use a solid, healthy (even if old) QB to help push Culpepper. Brett won't play but for maybe 1-2 more years so the team would need to be in position to make a run for the big one this year.

When their receiving lineup went stale he began throwing more Is. If you don't have great people running routes it's hard to prevent them from getting in trouble. It's a team issue, not a single-man issue. Getting rid of Favre wouldn't fix the team, thinking that it would is pretty narrow minded.

There are QBs with terrible receivers out there that don't throw 29 ints a year.

A lot of those teams have a running game, or a defense that makes up for it. The Packers were almost always playing from behind, and that's when he tries to force things.

Exactly, too many people are looking at this one dimensionally.

He threw so many as stated he tries to make miracles happen for a team that really with their talent should have only won 1-2 games. It all went down hill since Javon left leaving Driver to be double teamed day in and day out.

Give him the deep speed of Berian and Moose in chicago along with a top notch defense and rewind favre about 7 years.

Exactly. Favre just tosses the ball up for grabs and hopes for miracles. That's something even rookie quarterbacks can learn not to do and yet Favre never bothered with that lesson. Favre throws jump balls, not passes.

It's not that he hasn't learned, otherwise their superbowl runs under him wouldn't have been. It's the fact that when you have nothing to work with you try to make something happen. There isn't a QB in the NFL that could go into GB and make magic happen, the team blows. The o-line sucks, the d-line is marginally better. They don't have a good running game, they don't have good secondary. All around the team sucks. The only reason why they aren't doing worse is because Favre can throw some good ones for some points. Otherwise they'd only win 1-2 games a year.

I am not a huge Favre fan, since I am a Vikings fan, but recognizing talent should supersede team loyalty.
