The world of Bat-Shit.

Appearing on Breitbart Radio on Monday morning, a reporter for the conservative website defended an article he wrote that posits that “feminists” are turning to witchcraft to combat President Donald Trump.

Using the Twitter hashtag #MagicResistance, tech writer Charlie Nash told Breitbart editor-in-chief Alex Marlow in all seriousness that feminism and witchcraft have become “increasingly entwined,” reports Right Wing Watch.

According to Nash’s post at Breitbart, he discovered an article at The Baffler that suggested a rise in women becoming witches, with Nash writing, “Though a large percentage of ‘feminist witches’ undoubtedly limit themselves to the aesthetic alone, an increase in political mass hexes shows a portion of the movement delves deeper.”

Speaking with Marlow, Nash claimed, “You’ve got the basic things like the Etsy stores, the Witchsy stores, where they link feminist issues with witchcraft and Wicca and there’s other kind of occult symbols, but then you also have these groups of people who are actually trying to hex the president.”

According to Nash, feminist witches are joining together against Trump and are building elaborate “altars and tables with candles and pentagrams,” to create an “almost—a sense of sisterhood.”

“They have these other women which they can kind of get together and have a weird time with,’ he explained. “Secondly, I think it scares religious people. Obviously, a lot of these people are atheistic. They like to wind up the Christians. And thirdly, I think they also have a kind of—they feel like they have a connection to the persecuted women of the Salem witch trials. They look at these women and see them as kind of as victims of patriarchy, almost.”

After Marlow agreed, Nash claimed it wasn’t all bad.

“And then also there’s a proportion of them who just want to laugh because Harry Potter and Hermione and the rest of it,” Nash added before advising, “That’s a different section.”

LOL I told me wife about this just now, and her response was, "I wish witchcraft was actually real. If it was, I would become a witch just so that I could put a curse on Trump." :D

They would likely be charged for the casting of spells which have transformed Donald J. Trump into a barely sentient two-legged porcine man-child, but it is well past the statute of limitations.

Change him into a blow fish which would be a more accurate reflection of his inner man child. That way he wouldn't have any weapons to harm others with and could swell up with pride anytime he likes.

It is very dismissive of people that actually hold those religious beliefs. Imagine a story about people 'Praying for trump' being this dismissive?

Though a large percentage of ‘Conservative Christians' undoubtedly limit themselves to the aesthetic alone, an increase in political mass prayers shows a portion of the movement delves deeper.

You’ve got the basic things like the Etsy stores, the bible stores, where they link conservative issues with christianity (notice how he didn't even bother to capitalize the name of a religion) and Christ and there’s other kind of occult symbols, but then you also have these groups of people who are actually trying to pray for the president.

According to Nash, conservative christians are joining together for Trump and are building elaborate “altars and tables with candles and crosses,” to create an “almost—a sense of sisterhood.”

Well, they actually do cast Hexes on Trump

https://www.vox.com/2017/6/20/15830...es-magic-spell-to-bind-donald-trump-mememagic

Maybe all of this explains the right-bagger hysteria these days? I dunno, though, as I don't believe in witchcraft. Maybe ask that Bachman lady...or who was that other Witch lady running for Congress?

Most Witches will not perform magic with intent to harm. I know people that have performed a 'binding' ceremony against Trump. But a binding is not intended to harm but to prevent others from doing harm.

You huff paint thinner
You think witch feminists are undermining society

The best part of this story is knowing that people actually go to that website, read what they see there and believe it is a credible source of information.

This is the demographic that goes in for Seth Rich, pizzagate, climate change denial and Russian election interference is fake news though. So belief in witchcraft is not exactly a bridge too far for this demographic.

1992 fundraising letter, Pat Robertson wrote:

"The feminist agenda is not about equal rights for women. It is about a socialist, anti-family political movement that encourages women to leave their husbands, kill their children, practice witchcraft, destroy capitalism and become lesbians."

What's the point of having an enlarged amygdala if you can't live your life in a state of terror?
