Further to geekbabe's comments it's quite unnatural for most adults in our society to have an 8% bodyfat and nice biceps. It requires artificial modification of the body. Though it's not surgical, it still results in an abnormal (albeit unarguably good) appearance.

Generally people are well received when they say that they're going to start excercising, consciously cutting back their calories, and trying to look better in this way, so why not boobs?

Really I have yet to figure out how somebody could be for braces and against breast implants. In fact, considering that braces are generally started on minors and breast implants are not, at least with BIs the person getting them has some say in the matter as a legal adult.
Maybe if your GF/Wife wasnt so boring, you wouldnt need to stare at her breasts and wish she had implants?
Hmmmm food for thought...
That's not food for thought. Maybe if your gf/wife wasn't so boring, you'd not have to look at her 45" waist, triple chin, and ass that could sink a battleship? See where I'm going with that? Physical appearance is naturally important to most people.

Word!

Also a study I read recently indicates that the prefered female body type is for medium breasts paired up with an xsmall to small set of hips and ass.Unless you are a genetic superstar you aren't going to have ripped abs an ass the size of a 16 yr olds and a c cup sized rack.. you're either going to get liposuction or implants in addition to spending mega hours at the gym if you want to meet that ideal body type.

If you're on the smallish side to begin with it's rather disheartening.
Better than having fatty boobs. Personally I would sacrifice breast size for a thin body ANYDAY.

An ex-gf of mine had them, I'd say go for it, just don't overdo it. I didn't realize hers weren't real the first few times we went out - they were very nicely done and after a few years the (small) scars were almost impossible to see. For the most part they seemed fairly natural - she could certainly tan topless and you wouldn't really know it. Now, I did date another girl who had it done and the scars were VERY obvious ... honestly that was really awful... I don't know why there was such a big difference between the two, girl #2's scars were at least 4x as long and very very noticable... but her logic was that they didn't bother her because no one would ever see them... riiiiight. (I think she may have even implied that it was cheaper/easier to have them done that way, however they did it... she also may have been much slimmer to begin with, which may have had something to do with it?)

Anyway, I really don't see anything wrong with it. As long as you aren't doing it because you're completely obsessed/unhappy about your body. If you can look at it objectively and say it'll make you happier with your body but don't look at it as the end to all your problems etc, then I say go for it. As for guys, well, you'll certainly get more attention from them, and I know very few guys (in the real world) who would honestly NOT date someone because they had implants.

The only downside I really see is that as you get older (let's say, approaching mid 40s) they tend to start looking a little silly.. but I'm not sure if that's a result of women that age having ridiculous surgery done, or how things would be different if you had them in your 20s/30s and grew older with them in.

That's precisely one area of input we're missing... how it looks as their age approaches the 40s-50s...

this study must have been done in asia b/c the guys i know (including myself) like medium to large breasts, a nice small waist, and then a nice full ass.

They look less silly than the average 50 year old's saggy boobs, that's for sure!

the key to the study was in the proportion, the ideal figure type would in real life would wear a size 10 top a size 2 waist and a size 4 hip in clothing. Very few women are top heavy like that naturally.

You can't compare fake boobs to braces. Fake boobs require surgery and are purely cosmetic. IMO, having surgery for mere cosmetics is insane. Braces are mostly used for cosmetics, but can also solve a lot of mouth problems in young people - like fixing an incorrect bite and seriously goofy teeth. A badly misaligned bite and jacked up teeth can cause serious jaw problems later in life and be very painful.

Lifting weights and such to improve muscle mass is not an artificial modification of the body. That's absurd. There is nothing artificial nor abnormal about it. Fatties eat a lot of McD's and don't exercise to get that way. Who is the one using artificial means? A built dude that lifts and does cardio or a fatty that plugs himself full of preservatives and artificial foods?

Your whole post is seriously jacked up. I hope you weren't serious.

Where was this study? I don't know of a single guy that would prefer a woman like that. Those are dude dimensions! I'm pretty sure that most guys will prefer an hourglass shape.

I agree with you DougK62.

I have about a 10-11% body fat content. And I have done NO artificial modification to my body. Heck, I don't even eat as healty as I should.

Also, braces can actually be a healthy thing; misaligned teeth or jaw structure can lead to premature teeth wear, or hasten a collapse of the jaw and teeth alltogether. Braces are not just a cosmetic thing.

BTW I am 5'10" and weigh 145lbs. 18 years of age.

This is exactly what happened to my wife. she also has the wear and tear of having 4 kids.

Her new boobs will be coming January 26th. Needless to say, she is more excited than I.

Dude, you need to eat something before you blow away.

Breast implants are silly. I won't date anyone with them because they really say something about their personality. Anyone who would mutilate their body so agressively just for the sake of looking better has some mental issues. Fake boobies also do not look good, especially on a thin person. I have not seen ANY that look OR feel real - even with the newer techniques. Don't kid yourself.

I feel just the same about them as people do about getting hair implants - when you see someone with them you try not to look and then laugh when you get out of view.

overgeneralize much?
