I missed this earlier somehow. Sorry to hear about your breakup. But, your relationship and engagement was therefore a success. You didn't jump right into marriage, and that would have been the failure. You had good times and you correctly evaluated that you weren't right for each other. Congrats.

Too many people think a broken engagement is a bad thing. I'm here to say, no it is a very, very good thing. If you didn't break it, you'd be in a lot more pain later on.
