"A statement posted on a Web site and attributed to Osama bin Laden praises recent attacks on U.S. Marines in Kuwait and a French oil tanker. Details to come."

EDIT: Story posted at 10:18 a.m. - doesn't seem very important.

"The statement purported to be from bin Laden appears on an Internet site which has been associated in the past with al Qaeda. The Qatar-based Arabic language network Al Jazeera said it received a copy of the statement bearing bin Laden's signature. The authenticity of the signature could not be independently verified."
 
does anyone else hate this "more to come" business? its like teasing me...argg just give me the whole story or lay off till ya get the whole story....sheesh

I think what happens is they post it as soon as they get it and then they write the story...yeah I agree with you - it's almost better just to wait until the story's written.
 
Osama can kiss my ass. I would love to catch that piece of human debris and then sell tickets and pay per view rights to his ass kicking. I'm thinking we need to hold it at one of the NASCAR tracks. That way lots of people will get to see it live and those who bought tickets all get a chance to give his cornhole a workout with a broom handle.

Sounds like totally unsubstantiated BS. Unless CNN has something of genuine merit indicating the legitimacy of such a website I think they should be ashamed to state something like this. It's just hearsay unless I'm missing something. I guess we'll see when the story posts.

osama is still trying to dig his way out from underneath 200 feet of rubble. It will be a long time before we see his sorry a$$ again.
