Terrible. But I can't really get too upset about these anymore. My emotional energy for this is just drained, and no one actually cares to do anything to stop these mad shooting sprees.

If no one else cares to change anything to stop them, than I can't continue to invest my energy.

It's all just part of the landscape of America now.

When shooting up a Church sure I guess? Look at the vile stuff posted on here towards religion. I’m an atheist myself and think the "war on Christianity" is a crock of shit but I’ve definitely encountered plenty who are simply filled with hatred towards religion and Christianity in particular.

Not saying that is what happened here, but from what we know so far not outside the realm of possibilities.

Two kinds of people visit atheist sites: atheists, and theists who debate atheists.
 
So much fake information instantly springing up on this. The filth people spread is starting to bother me. It's all a smoke screen to later fuel conspiracy theories and nut jobs.

atheists are forced to confront theists because theists are hell bent on forcing their personal beliefs on others.

i have never interfaced with an atheist who wanted to convert anyone, and definitely not violently. theists on the other hand...well, just browse the world news.

I mean, it's not impossible the shooter was a kook still angry that his parents go to church, but it's wayyyy too soon to pin a motive. Remember the people insisting the Las Vegas shooter must've been ISIS?

Perhaps he thought he was a victim of the theists as you seem to and this was his way of lashing back?

He knew someone or someone’s at that church that he had a negative relationship with whom he decided to enact his rage on.

Anywahy, if only the shooter stood next to smokers longer and died, this would have been averted.

Every day I'm thinking more and more that we need to come up with a way to address this on social media platforms. The speed with which totally crazy bullshit can spread is unbelievable...the stuff I hear from people now. I don't know what the exact solution is but we need to start looking.

Probably. Might have found out his wife cheated or something. At this point all we can do is speculate.
