I've only met Saul recently, and I'm already interested in the show. I remember hearing about it not too long ago, that they were doing a spin-off.
I could Netflix, and would probably have better video/audio, and not have to worry about skipping commercials, but I'd like to minimize data consumption (local cable co/ISP even has bandwidth caps. goddamn swine) for when I really want to use it.
It was awesome, then, that AMC did a full non-stop marathon prior to the finale. I made some serious use of my HTPC DVR, and had one screw up when the roommate's cat decided to hit a power switch behind the TV. That was actually well-timed near my lunch break that day, as I got home, saw no light on my HTPC, and ended up only having one episode recording screwed up. Turned to Netflix to watch that and now I'm back running through the seasons.
Still pretty good quality, so I'm not too offended. It'd be nice if cable was much closer to Netflix overall, but I guess I can't complain too much.
I just recently started Season 3.
