Cant wait. Started watching it a week and a half ago on Netflix and now I'm all caught up and ready for season five.

I'm rewatching from the beginning to get primed for the new season. I might stretch things out for a month or two while recording the new season so that I have all of Season 5, part 1, available before even starting it.

It's going to be a bittersweet season for me, since it's the last. I've been a loyal viewer since the first episode aired. I remember an interview years ago with Cranston who was describing what the series would be about, and I knew I had to watch. It turned out to be better than I had even hoped for.

The series will remain one of my favorites of all-time I think. Paul and Cranston are simply amazing.

I think it's the last season, but its going to be split up into 2 7-part mini seasons during this summer and next summer.

Looks like I'm going to have to obtain every season

Season 2 is the greatest season for any drama on cable TV ever, plain and simple, watch it. All the best characters are introduced in S02 (Gus, Sal, Mike) and watching Walt and Jesse start to build their empire on the streets and cook in that RV is just so much fun to watch.

It is awesome. I'd have to say the last 3 episodes of Season 4 (especially the finale) are also among my favorite TV, ever.

Two is good, four is better. The power struggle between Walt and Gus was brilliantly handled.

I know this is the last season filmed in albuquerque...is this the last season, period?

Yes - they are calling it one season but it will air in two 8-episode parts, which I believe will be aired a year apart. Very much like what happened with the Sopranos (except that if memory serves that was caused by some kind of contract dispute with HBO - I'm not sure if the episodes were written with that structure in mind, and there were definitely some clunkers in the final season).

Yes it ended well, but season 3 had the all-time best finale with the half/full measure episodes, totally badass. It did have a cliffhanger but even a blind man could see what happened when that gun went off. The Gus/Walt power struggle was an interesting dynamic but I still long for the days where it was Walt and Jesse vs. the world, perhaps Season 5 brings us back to that since Gus got Terminator-faced.
