This is one reason that I only use Netflix for blu-ray.
I would never switch from FiOS as an ISP either. I am much happier with there services and cost than TWC.
Different strokes for different folks. I don't remember the last time I used my bluray player, and don't really use my bandwidth for anything but streaming music/video and email. Since I don't pirate anymore, mind if I ask what you use all that extra bandwidth for if you're a physical media type? It's theoretically nice to have had a 50/50 connection, but my non fucked with 30/6 connection right now on twc is allowing me to do what I want with greater ease. netflix now looks better than broadcast tv, the difference is kinda amazing and i feel like a wuss for giving in to verizon's whims for so long. In fact, I"m thinking twc's new $15/month internet with netflix and hulu would serve my tv needs just fine in the future (saving me $120+ a month!). and i'm no longer in a contract so I can jump around tiers whenever i want. freedom!
