Braveheart vs. Gladiator *POLL*

me and some friends were watching Gladiator on DVD, and many felt they liked it much more then Braveheart. not that they had anything agsinst braveheart, they all loved it, just a matter of preference.

what did you guys think? i think at this point i am a little partial to both, but i think braveheart squeaked ahead a bit, just a larger story. however there are points i think gladiator did have over braveheart.

a poll is up too to tally results 😉

I've asked myself and friends that question. I really can't decide. I loved 'em both. Probably have to give Gladiator the edge. I think the angst gives it an edge. Hey, how bout tossing Patriot in with 'em?

I voted gladiator. shh... don't tell anyone. The Patriot is up there too. But nothing can compare with............

STAR WARS bwuahahahahhhahahhahhahahahaha!

excuse me.

Gladiator.

But its story SUCKS, i don't know why Golden Globe nominated it for best film of the year. No way, this movie has horrible storyline where it contradict itself every ten minutes. For every scene you watch there will be ten more questions raise on your mind. This can not be compromised for the stunning visual affect it provides. Nonetheless it's the best entertaining movie of the year.

Braveheart is a better movie. It won more awards than Gladiator can hope to receive. A more accurate competition would have been Braveheart vs. Patriot... same movie, different time.

Hmmm, that's a tough one. I thought both movies were excellent. But I think that Braveheart is slightly better because it's a longer more involving story. But Gladiator is definitely a masterpiece and one of the best moview this year. I'm listening to the soundtrack right now and I wish I was watching it. 😉

1) Braveheart
2) Gladiator

abracadabra1 - Are you referring to "Proof of Life"? I saw it and enjoyed it but it's not going to be one of my favorite movies of the year though.
