Braveheart is Epic

It provokes,
It inspires,
It frees us of all our worldy day to day thought,
And begs the question:

Have you really Lived.

Words that are indeed melded together from fact and fiction, that is quite clear,
But how true they still ring in our ears.

It truly is an epic piece of work

And still its not in your favorite movies list???

I would assume that the sleep-induced stuper-of-a-post that you jsut witnessed by that fiendish OP was evidence enough that that ole' bastard finds it to be one of the finsest
cinematic stories.

Meh. Historically highly innacurate. Does watching terminator 2 make you wonder if you've really lived?

I'm kinda partial to the ending of Last of the Mohicans. Now, that was epic.

I hate this movie and can't watch it due to the bastardization of Robert the Bruce King of Scotland. In his life he accomplished so much more than William Wallace but now millions of ignorant people think he was a backstabber and that william wallace is more worthy than a footnote. Also, the whole christian thing...

Oh and some wise words I heard a few years back. Movies are for entertainment not a source of information.

No, but Forrest Gump did. T2 was a bad comparison.

Then you say this:

Take your own advice. The OP never claimed the movie was a history lesson.

Also, Robert the Bruce is vindicated at the end of the movie as the hero who liberated Scotland. So it's not all bad. :p

Agreed. One of the greatest movie ever made. I only think of it as a work of fiction.

We watch Braveheart every New years eve for over a decade now. It's a tradition at our home.
