i'm torn...might have to go with Brave New World on this...how anyone could foresee all that stuff is crazy, and it really reads like it was written recently, even tho it is a genuine 1930s shout...

ah, never saw those. LOVED Gattaca though, and I am told it follows the same premise of Brave New World[/b]

1984 was great, but Brave New World was much better. Even amongst Orwell's stuff, I'd place Animal Farm over 1984.

Animal Farm was excellent, i enjoyed that a lot more than 1984 i have to admit, on that note hl2 very much reminds me of 1984 ;)

Well, if we're going to factor in films, Brazil whoops all of them.
Of the two based on the books, I'd chose 1984.

1984, simply because I think it has a better storyline than Brave New World.

Supposedly Demolition Man is based off Brave New World

Worst adaptation ever, but it is still an entertaining movie

"He doesn't know how to use the seashells"

More like "inspired by". You see Brave New World homages all over the film. The most obvious being Sandra Bullock's character's name.

Brave NEw World....for SURE. 1984 is very good, but when I read Brave New World on my own (my uncle had suggested it) I thought "wow such an accurate description of society pu into an interesting story...when was this thing written?!" and was amazed to find out it was written such a long time ago!
