Braodcom Network Adapter keeps dropping connection (Win 10)

Ever since I upgraded to Win 10 Pro, my Broadcom Network Adapter has been intermittent and continuously drops my internet connection (very annoying during online gaming). I've tried Rolling Back the drivers/updating the drivers to no avail.

I've also tried to install a more updated driver from Broadcom (the 4th one under Drivers): https://www.broadcom.com/support/?gid=12, but there isn't an .exe file within the folder......I don't know how to use these other attached files to update this driver. :\

It seems that others are also having this issue over at the Win 10 forums and have offered various solutions, but nothing has worked so far.

So.....I'm thinking of purchasing this Plugable USB 3.0 Ethernet Adapter as a solution.

Would like to know your thoughts on this? (seemed to get very good reviews on Amazon)

If you've got an open PCIe slot in your computer, I'd just drop in a cheap Intel NIC in it.

Yeah, I also was thinking about getting a cheap Intel NIC (I do have an open slot). My IceQ 7870 looks to be in the way of the PCIe slot though.

As of last night, I have ZERO internet connection. I was even considering reverting back to Win 8.1. :\
