Branded RAM

I'm about to remove some unbranded RAM from my system - I'm not sure what I should replace it with. I currently have 256Mb unbranded and 128Mb Crucial (both PC133). I'm removing the unbranded.

What I want to know is should I buy Crucial RAM to match the current 128Mb or can I buy a different brand (Kingsmax)?

I'm sick on instability so it's bye-bye unbranded - but I don't want to replace it with RAM that's unstable because of incompatibility :)

Also, is there any reason why I can't buy PC150 RAM?

Anyone?

(sorry about the bump, but I've been hovering the mouse over the buy button for a while now ;)

I would suggest that you buy something good like Crucial or Mushkin. Kingmax, I think, is okay as well, but I have not personally used and I don't know what they list for settings. If you go with Crucial again, then you know you are getting a quality product at a good price, so that is my advice. There's no reason you can't buy PC150, but there is no reason to unless you plan to overclock to at least that point and beyond. Otherwise, it's a waste of money. Most Crucial PC133 will do 150 without too much trouble.
