Brand Spankin' New Poll!

This is the SECOND part of the FIRST round of a sort of best-video-games tree. The groupings are more or less random, although in this second part I've made a concerted effort to do what I think will be high/low pairings, instead of power-pairings, which you all don't seem to like.

Please vote in every poll, and please post below to keep this on the front page - the more people voting, the better the poll will be.

How this poll works:

Tournament Tree style. Right now one bracket is being decided. Games with smaller than a 10% margin will be thrown back into the pot and rerandomized to give every game a fair shot.

If you believe a matchup is ESPECIALLY unfair, such as the pong/tetris matchup, please PM me and I may put both of them back into the pot.

Also, if you believe a matchup has no relevance, please PM me with that information too. I am trying to keep on top of the thread, but it's difficult. PMs are much more direct and will elicit a much better response.

Below are the matchups that have been decided.

The winning game has a percentage point next to it which indicates the percentage of votes it recieved in each matchup. Games in BOLD, although not the winners of that particular round, will advance anyway.

I agree. Almost as tough as the zombie armaments option.

By the way, I'm going to have to disagree with you on the HMMIII v. Planetside one. I've spent about the same amount of time playing both, and overall I think that HMMIII was a significantly better game. It might not have been to everyone's liking, but I still think it was better.

What I really wanted to do was HMMII v. HMMIII, but then I don't know how *I* would have voted.

The poll system is actually pretty good, to tell you the truth, in terms of allowing large numbers of varied pollage, but it does take a HELL of a long time.

That was @ Shawn, by the way.

where is secret of mana. That is the only game along with 2c3 that i care about in your poll. I remember I was the first to submit secret of mana for this thing.

Will do, although you'll see another thread that says "ROUND TWO" or something in big caps like that. I'll probably forget, so just keep your eyes out for that thread.

Actually, it didn't. It lost to chrono trigger:

Halo 1
Chrono Trigger 57.44 (Chrono Trigger won with a % of 57.44)

It's in bold because many people think it should continue to the second round anyway.
