Briefly: I want to burn a CD of music. Where do I go to do so? Will the MP3 sites do the job? I would have gone to Napster, but I would have to pay, and well, you know....
Please don't flame me--if you will just point me to a site that will teach me, I'd appreciate it...
TIA:;

Well, if you're trying to download the music, I can recommend two services: Audiogalaxy and Morpheus/Musiccity.
Just go to their sites, download the respective clients, and basically follow their instructions. Audiogalaxy is what I use since Napster went ... wherever it went, it has got lots of Music and is really easy to use.
Morpheus also searches for different file formats and usually downloads faster than AG because it offers the option to download from several other clients at once. However in my experience Morpheus doesn't have as much music as AG.

After you've got some music, you'll also need a burning software capable of burning Audio CDs. Since you've got a burner, chances are pretty good the software bundled with it can do so, again, just follow the instructions.

Be careful to use Audiogalaxy, it incorporates spyware. If you download the shareware AdAware, you can get rid of the spyware component however, and continue to use audiogalaxy.

Morpheus is by far and away the largest, fastest and best music (and other things, videos, pictures, etc, etc) downloading program.
