alright, im at my witts end here.... ive been troubleshooting for a couple hours, and at this point the only thing you can really do is start to blame your parts as being faulty... well i think its the motherboard and i really hate to say it because the whole reason i got an amd chip and board is because my intel system crashed... would that make a difference... jumping from intel to amd on unformatted hard drives? i have fooled around with the ram, which is almost brand new, i have switched out video cards, reseated my chip, fooled around with the hd configuration (switching around jumpers and the IDE cable).... any suggestions would be great, but chances are ive tried it and just havent mentioned it. thanks in advance!! RMA is the LAST THING I WANT TO DO!!!!

Start by confirming that the square ATX12V cable is plugged into the motherboard's receptacle, which is up near the upper edge of the board. It won't run without that, and it's easy to miss since it's up high.

If that isn't the problem, then post an exhaustive list of what parts are in it, including the brand and model of the power supply and the speed rating of the RAM.
