Installed the new video card Saturday. Tonight I noticed that there are "white spots" all over the screen. What the Hell is that all about?

I rebooted and it cleared up but now its back. There are hundreds of them now....

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It looks like someone took a very fine eraser and began touching my screen all over.

Did you overclock the card? It may be overheated. If not, it is defective.

The screen got so bad, I couldnot even read anything on the desktop....White Sheers across the screen, got really bad.....

I have an Enlight 7237 case with no case fans. Does anyone think that had something to do with it overheating (if that was the problem?)

Think I'll go back to my trust TNT2 Ultra and spend my money on a new CPU/m-b combo instead of the video card.

It means can you take a screen shot of your white mess and provide a link to it?

Mattlock,

Let me say this just in case if you haven't done so. Have you completely uninstalled the previous video driver before you install this new one and its driver? It's not easy to remove the old driver completely in the registry. It is a nightmare for me to post the whole instruction how to completely remove it but there are also two other ways to do it. If you had the previous nvidia video card, try Detonator Destroyer and then install your new driver.

If that doesn't cut it, try C:/format and then install Windows before you return it to the store if you're willing to try this.
