Is Palit a good brand ?

I'm getting palit 9600gt and msi hd4670 at same price at local hardware vendors.
Which is better card ?
My budget is limited.
I need a video card for playing game at low resolution 1024x768.

My config:
Intel Dual Core E2180@2.0GHz
Gigabyte G31 Motherboard
2 GB DDR2 800MHz RAM
450Watt non branded PSU

I'm not sure where you live, but many sources are saying that Palit is leaving the US market for video cards.

Otherwise, I would go with the card with the best warranty and if possible one with a warranty location in your country.

I'm not sure which is better of those 2 particular cards as far as benchmarks.

Ditto........i wouldn't tax a non-branded power supply any more than i had too. 😉

I live in India.
Palit giving 3 years warranty.
Palit cards are cheaper than other brands.
Green(55nm) version of 9600gt have not launch here yet.
I want to know if palit cards are last longer than other brand or not.
I mean palit is reliable or not ?

go to http://www.newegg.com and http://www.newegg.ca and search for the cards and read the reviews there. You will be reading reviews on a popular websites that serve the US and Canada markets. You might find your actual model there, or may prefer one chipset more than the other after reading the reviews.
