On ordinary cars, you cannot slam on the brakes while turning at higher speeds or else you spin out, you have to apply even and gradually increasing pressure to safely stop. In fact it's a bad idea all together to slam on the brakes on non ABS cars.
So can you just punch the brakes on a car that has ABS, especially while turning or on wet/low traction surfaces, without fear of losing control?
I haven't really had the chance/opportunity to try it out yet. One of these days, I will have to look for a performance driving class around here 😎
