That's called "irrational."

Here is the problem. You think you can make an absolute judgement about who I am as a person because of one statment I make on a forum on the internet. This judgement is unsound; you have no clue who I am. In reality, I am one of the most rational people I know.

I don't base my decisions based on fears, hysteria or phobias. I can make a statement like "if there is any question there is no question" and feel confidant when I'm doing it. But this is what I hate about forums. People come along and think they can sum up your life by one statement you make.

What an absolutist, foolhardy judgement to make.

Um, WTF are you talking about?

I have made one judgement. And that judgement has only to do with THIS ISSUE.

Your position on this issue is irrational. Please reread my posts and tell me where I have judged anything else about you, much less you altogether?

Reading comprehension!

Your comments imply that I make irrational decisions, which is not true for the most part.

My comments imply no such thing. May I suggest insecurity may be getting the best of you?

I have mild anxiety issues, but I usually override those issues with logically and rational thinking.

Carry on. I'm done with the conversation.

GG Internet.

Actually, one more stabbing comment would be appropriate.

May I suggest that you assume too much?

Actually, no. You may not.

I addressed this issue, and this issue only. Your fears ON THIS SUBJECT are unfounded, contradicted by every valid study, and therefore irrational.

Your fears that I judged you as completely irrational are also unfounded, as I said no such thing, nor did I imply it.

In short, I have assumed nothing.

Wrong. Your assumption was immediately evident when you said "it's a motto that serves as a basis for irrational fears, hysteria and phobias."

You assumed that you knew exactly what I meant by this statement weather in fact you did or not. I am a versatile, dynamic individual that can take certain topics and apply a said methodology to whatever issue I need as I see fit. Therefore, when I made the comment it was done according to my own principles and thought processes.

You toke my comment at face value and failed to consider my motive behind it. You assumed that the comment was faulty, however, if you understood me as individual, you would learn that it makes perfect rational sense.

Out.

Rational? Sir, I have yet to see you make a single rational statement in this thread.

Think of getting a tumor as having sex with a supermodel. Sure, some people have, but you aren't going to. And nobody's had sex with a supermodel because of radio waves.

except Howard Stern

They have done tests on Radio Waves but they are inconclusive about long term damage. Plus light does not pass through the skull so therefore could not affect the brain in the same way as radio waves.

I'm sorry, are you trying to say that "cell phone radiation" is not classified as a radio wave under the EMS. Seriously people, they call it radiation to scare you on TV, it's just standard radio waves. They do no emit microwaves, or x-rays, or gamma rays, or any of that crap.

Yes, it's radiation, but everything under the spectrum is.

This from the guy who assumes that cellphones will give you brain cancer without a shred of evidence to back it up?

That's like the high volume-to-surface area cooking utensil referring to the absorption spectrum of the high-surface area cooking utensil, when they both share similar absorptive properties.
