Brain scans have been developed which it is claimed can predict what a person is about to do.
German, British and Japanese scientists were able to "read minds" using sophisticated functional magnetic imaging (fMRI) and computer programs.

Nonetheless, it is pretty cool. Obviously it is very limited, and will always be so, but I find it a little eerie that someone can use some apparatus to objectively find out what you are thinking, even if it only works in a narrow context (like whether you are thinking of addition or subtraction).
