i'm glad that the baby survived. it's shameful when a husband/father loses both a wife and a child. he is very fortunate and it's very nice of the community to reach out for him during this time of need.

it's not shameful when that happens.. shame implies fault. what it is is tragic. and I agree. he is very fortunate, and it is heartwarming to read about the support he and the baby have received. she's kind of like a phoenix.. a contrived miracle. 🙂
