Ok, I know someone out there has a faster system than me. But I want to know who, and WHAT they have. Here's mine:

Well that didn't take/last long........

Edit- guesses on "his" rig-

CPU- 2 FX 64's
Mobo- AMD 4x4
Memory- DDR3 1066 or higher
Vid card- Nvidia 8800GTX
Raid 5 controller- no clue/don't care.

Any other/better guesses out there?
 
LOL Nice on the Dual 7900GTX. That will be my next upgrade. SLI on the 7900GTX's Woot! I got the RAW power to back them though.

ECC is not that exspensive. And Registered is whats required, ECC optional.
 
My high end rig is kind of run of the mill nowadays. 🙁 Still works great for me, though. :thumbsup:

LOL. Does it count if I rlogin to a quad 3.0ghz 16GB woodcrest to run jobs? It's my machine in the sense that I send hate mail to anyone who dares intrude. That means you TuxDave.
 
I know a guy who has (2) 285's oc'd to 3ghz each.....

I will like to see some woodcrest oc'd on the right board to 3.4ghz and then I would say that would be faster....opterons at 2.8ghz would likely lose to woodcrest at 2.4-2.6ghz....A 3.2-3.4ghz would be a monster....
