Here's my brag: I just picked up a Nikkor 35mm f/1.8 AF-S for $125 from a guy on Craig's List. Seems these run $250-300+ everywhere else right now :awe:

Nikon 80-200 f/2.8D ED AF
Nikon 50mm f/1.8D AF
Sigma 17-50mm f/2.8 EX DC OS HSM

Nothing to write home about. But I did get rid of my Olympus stuff a couple months ago. 🙂 $1450 by selling it on Amazon.com, so only an extra $1600 to upgrade to items above.

Well if we're bragging, I picked up an excellent condition AF Nikkor 85mm f/1.8 for $100 on Craigslist.

The 35/1.8 is $199 shipped on Amazon. Great lens; essential for DX shooters.

micro, how's that 80-200 working for you? I looked at one a while back, but wondered if not having VR would be an issue when shooting handheld.

Sorry for late reply,
I like it but I still need about 1/300 shutter, sometimes a bit more, 1/450 or 1/600 to ensure hand shake is removed. I do plan in a far, far future to sale it and get the 70-200 VRII but I have other objectives I want to acquire in the meantime.

I have the canon counter part (70-200 f/2.8L IS II) and it rocks my socks off! MicroAmp, are you running FF? or APS-C? if you're running APS-C you wont see very much difference between 70-200 VRII and VR

Here are two pics I took at a wedding with my super old and beat up Pentax *ist DS with kit lens.
