man, newegg.com has some really great prices but their shipping policy is REDICULOUS! they charge so much. in my cart i have 100+ in shipping feees, its so high that it takes away the savings from the prices. unlike normal vendors, they dont charge less when you buy alot from them. do you think if enough people complain they will conform their shipping policieS?

Does anyone know what it takes to get the GC from the amazon/ofoto deal. I E-mailed them already and they gave me the 3-4 weeks spheel(i doubt thats spelled right) but is been close to 3 months!!!!!! any ideas please!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

i played in a tournament on www.zone.com that was sponsored by driveway.com that had 9 races and they all had major prizes. i won 3 digital cameras, 1 digital camcorder, 2 27inch tv with dvd/vcr/radio, one 20 inch tv/vcr, a laptop from dell, and a thing called a tan cd recorder... i never got the tan because they stopped making it by the time the prizes were given out so they gave me the amount of it in credit for a company on the web which i think was around $9000.00 and told me to make a list for what i want and give it to them.
so i got 2 bose lifestyle 50 systems that were $3700.00 each a 36 inch tv and a dvd player. god bless sony for stop making that tan thing.
oh ya i forgot i also got $500.00 cash for first place wins and lower amounts for second that made my total cash i recieved from them $3900.00 i think it was.
funny thing is i ebay'd everything but the laptop ,36inch tv i gave to my parents and the dvd also.
and on top of that i was informed zone.com changed all there rules for how prizes were given away so you can only win 1 prize per tournament now so i screwed you all 😉 ...

I can't believe this....you can't make this up !
When I bought my Kodak DC4800 from Staples, the box was clear tape sealed; didn't look like it was tampered with; after all, why would someone take out only the clips ?...tried to attach the neck strap to the camera; NOT !!....why ? because the neck strap doesn't have the silver clips to attach the strap to the camera....no way is it gonna work ! ARRRRGGGHHHHHH

you should ve seen the BS the staples csr gave me today. first i asked them if the maxtor 60 gb 7500 was in stock..she said yes..i told her i wanted to price match ...then in a couple of min she said the items in stock had decreased to 1 and that her computer woudnt allow her to order. then she said she might be able to take the order and have them ship it in more than 5 days..i said ok and gave them neweggs url.. then she put me on hold and came back in 2-3 min and said "i am sorry we dont price match with newegg as they dont meet our exacting standards" not knowing wether to laugh or cry , i hung up.

About a week ago I started having a problem with the forums where when I was on any page beyond the first listing of topics, and I went into a thread, pressing the back button would cause my browser to say the page was no longer available, and that I'd need to press refresh to reload the page.
A new problem has risen. Now, when I try to click the back button, my browser wants to step through all of the different banner ads at the top of the page before it actually changes to the previous page. So if 5 ads have cycled since I loaded a page, I'll need to click back 5 times in order to get back to the previous listing of articles. Is this something new? Is this caused by the ad-server that's being used? Is anybody else seeing this? It's aggravating, and the usability of these forums is taking a step backwards.

HEHE I'm happy I finally got this deal worked out.
I did a website for a local bussiness that does T-shirts etc. So anyway we made a deal he is gonna pay me 100 bucks plus 30 t-shirts (at 1/2 the cost of materials) with any design that I want. I just finished up the website, and I talked to him yesterday and gave him the design. "AMD Athlon Percision Overclocking" I should get 30 of these babies next week. I'm gonna keep 5 so I can wear them everyday at work, and then sell the rest to some friends at a LAN party I go to often.

My 6400 was supposed to be delivered today, I checked the tracking # and it said it was being returned to shipper, that is was damaged during delivery! Gateway told me at least a week before they would get the paperwork from UPS and then they would "rebuild" my server! AARGH! Looks like I am pushed back with everyone else!

Follow up to previous post re: DC4800 neck strap "clips"...
Called Kodak; seems the plant in Rochester, NY where the camera box stuff is finally assembled before shipment to retail, etc., blew it....they get the neck straps in from China, take them from the shipment one by one and place them in the camera box...they're supposed to check them before closing the camera box, but someone, er more than one person goofed...I'm not the only one who called about this...and the clips are backordered :Q ...can't tell me when they'll come in...2 weeks...2 months....it's a slow boat from China !! 😀
Oh well, guess I'll have to use some coated electrical wire for the time being....

wow, people actually responded. Once again, GPS sucks. Finally got my memory today and guess what, they were all PC100 generics and I ordered PC133. This is really ticking me off. What do you think I should do?

Got plextor 16x retail in box for 160
not really a brag, but I received my SMC router with only ethernet cable, when the box says it should include two cables. I called customer service, and they sent me a cable. But today I receive my cable in a FedEx box, but I also receive a UPS box with an extra AC Adaptor power supply for the router. Guess I'm in good shape if my adaptor gets fried. 😛
