Just a followup warning on Tiger.direct. Another deal was the Gateway Profile 2 at Tigerdirect.com. About 5 days after I ordered, and before I received the machine, they added a free Apollo printer to the bundle. I called them to see if they would adjust my order, and was told by Juan that "no problem, we will send you the printer for free." I never got it, and today, I spoke with the floor supervisor Lydia, and she flatly refused to honor what Juan promised. All she would do is give me a $15 Tiger credit, which given my experience with them, is worthless.

I guess they really do deserve their 1.8 resellerratings.com rating.

Just be aware, and document everything with them. Assume they won't follow through and you will be okay. I think everyone should boycott these guys, and when they improve their act, then we will do business with them.

 
I got an email from rebateshq 3 weeks ago saying my rebate had been validated. I go back to their website every so often and check, and it says processing.

Should I trust them to get the rebate out, I wonder...

I'm a little confused, in all the coupon deals I've done with Staples, the coupon amount is deducted from the total BEFORE the charge is placed on my CC. I've never had a credit to my card for the coupon amount, are you sure they didn't charge your card the coupon amount?
 
AXIA does it again! WOohOo.. 1.0 --> 1.51 ghz stable at 52 deg. C.. although I don't like to run anything that high.. oh, that's at full load by the way. I ordered another 1ghz t-bird from Newegg for my buddy, but he ended up getting an ARFG or some other.. something like that. Unfortunate.. only got it to 1.2 from a 1.0.. not TOO shabby, but not all that stable either.
 
[Moan] I finally got all my rebates from last Thanksgiving's shopping frenzy except for one: EZonics webcam! Everytime I call, there's a new excuse. "No record of your rebate;" "Address not valid," "What's your correct address again?" "Will send it out in 2 weeks" etc. I sold the webcam on e-lay, so at least it's not a total loss. BTW, are all webcams inferior, or just EZonics?

Has anyone recieved there rebates from the OM (BM)CDROM and modem deal from back in early April late march? I think they were free after rebate?????
I need to keep track of these better!!

it seems as thought B & M store (bb, staples, omax and OD) around my place never have any of those hot deals. i used to live near pompano beach and now i am in ATL 🙁
 
Hey, does anyone have the number to contact regarding the Linksys $30 rebate on the BEFSR41 router, that you could buy from anyone of about a dozen stores? I sent mine in 12 weeks ago, and Linksys will not answer any e-mails I sent to their rebate email address or any other Linksys email address (support@linksys.com, sales@linksys.com, dlimacher@linksys.com, mailroom@linksys.com, ksohl@linksys.com, hr@linksys.com, webmaster@linksys.com, rebate@linksys.com). The rebate was to be sent in by 4/19/01, but I see that Staples now has a similar rebate going on through the end of June. Thanks!

 
Here is what I got so far.... I did receive my linksys router rebate. It took forever but i got it. I am still waiting on the 200 cd-r rebate... I got that card in the mail saying It was not purchases in the correct time... That pisses me off because I asked the lady and she said it would be ok. I WANTED to purchase them right then but she said it would be ok until they got some in. I also got the E-mail thing.... that is the biggest bunch of BS I have heard. If a CO. is not going to send out your rebate because you didn't put your e-mail address on there.. that is a BUNCH of CRAP! I am trying to call them right now to get this worked out.

Grrr...

I run out to get the $40 Visor and find out egay is flooded with'em. Same thing happened to a bunch of other really good deals. Most recently the Cybiko I sold for $31 that I probably could've gotten a couple more bucks for.
