What does it say if you got into the beta? I had this thing that said beta opt-in but all it did was upload my PC info.

Thats just the beta opt in you did, they pick you based on your PC specs apparently so everyone who wants a shot at a beta key had to upload them. You get an email saying well done etc with a beta key if they picked you.

I went to Blizzcon 2008 and I haven't gotten mine yet either. Honestly if they do these Blizzcon beta invites like they did for the WotLK ones from 2007, it'll be a few days before we get in. They're saying on the boards that we're SUPPOSED to get in in the first wave, but I won't be surprised if we have to wait.

Granted, playing D3 for an hour was well worth it alone.

This thread reminded me to update my specs in my battle.net account. It's a lot more powerful now that it was before so I probably didn't get in the Beta.

I didn't but I did just realize I could activate all my old blizz product keys and download the games through bnet

SC2 has rather low system requirements.. I would imagine that they want a good amount of low end systems to test it on, so your odds might be better with a lower end system than a higher one.

Its a good bet it would improve your chances. I took the overclock off my 920 just to run the bnet system specs thing as i assumed they might not give anyone with an overclocked rig a beta key to avoid error reports etc from people with unstable rigs and the like.

I dunno though, i just really want a key and tried to take everything into account lol.

I've never gotten into a Blizzard beta before, and I don't expect to break that trend this time either :(
