Wife got me a Blu-ray player, but I really didn't want or need it. In fact, I think she got the idea from me 2 weeks ago when I mentioned it, and the fact that I wasn't interested in dumping the DVD collection only to be replaced by BD, and add to that the fact that I have an HTPC and don't need a composite player to junk up around the TV.

Might just hook it up to the older plasma and let the kids use it. Luckily, I bought myself a Touchpad for Xmas knowing it was going to be a lean holiday (no PC games I wanted, no good books, etc.).
 
I got myself a new HSF that I love.

Oh and I'll be getting something from the white elephant gift exchange we are doing later tonight.

I'm thinking with the cash that I received of purchasing a better set of PC speakers. The Cambridge Soundworks FPS-1800 set that I have is nice but I really never use the rear speakers even though I still game.

Maybe 15 gifts total under the tree this year. When you no longer have little ones it just doesn't have the same excitement.

Received nothing from the parents - might get a family gift when we go and visit mom - knowing her it will be something extremely useful for our kitchen. This years request was a candy thermometer.

I'll brag: I laid in bed for 2 hours this morning just relaxing while getting the usual, "Merry Christmas, TridenT!" text messages from random girls. Then I got up, ate my pop tarts, drank some diet pepsi, and decided to check for some deals that might be going on today or tomorrow (MW3 and BF3 are on sale. I'll pass). Then, I came to ATOT.

I am not 100&#37; sure what I am getting this Christmas from my parents. They said I'd be getting money (Which I will most likely use to pay for my rent/internet/gas/textbooks/food expenses) and a gift from my Dad because he wanted to give me something special (It's not something that important from what I could tell, just a small thing). I don't see my parents until later this week when I go down for a New Years event that I am volunteering for.

Just taking a break from helping to cook a very large family dinner, 11 people in all. Exhausting. Anyway I'd love to see and hear what you guys all got for Christmas? I know lots of people don't get or want anything but lots do as well. Take a pic is possible. Here's what I got:

The 2 boxes are light weights, didn't expect these but I've been loosing weight and some muscle toning would be good. On the light side though. The other box is a Dremel 3000 😛 Off to the side are books. Gift cards and assorted stocking stuffers.

Some things that may be hard to figure out. Top left corner random candy. Top right corner 2 scratch and win tickets. On the right cheap dollar store pens (bit of a joke). Bottom in order gift card, small tupper wear containers, mango soap, candy. If you are wondering why the strange assortment of stuff they are stocking stuffers.

I asked for money for my main gift though so I got this as well 😀
