Brady or Bledsoe... Who would you start?

Brady got them there, let him start. But if he can't let Bledsoe start and Brady finish.

Bledsoe did lead the Pats to a Super Bowl against the Packers ... in New Orleans ... not long ago. He did lose that game against a far superior Packer squad. Having said that - I'd start Brady if he is healthy. You really can't quantify health with percentages. If he is having trouble, put in Bledsoe. He does have something to prove. That could be a good thing if he rises to the occasion, and a very bad thing if he pushes passes. The Rams D will capitalize on an untimely error.

The problem is that both will be asked to prove the impossible against an incredible Ram defense. Even if they survive the Ram defense, "The Greatest Show on Turf" aka the Rams offense will eats the Pats "D" alive - even though their "D" is respectable.

The Rams just have waaaaaay too much going for them on both sides of the ball. I don't see how either QB can really impact the Pats "O" enough to swing the game.

Another vote for Brady. He deserved the start. However, he should know that Bledsoe is standing on the sideline waiting for his chance.

Clearly, Brady is the choice if healthy. Bledsoe has been healthy for a while now, and Belichick stuck with Brady because he was winning so much. Why change now? Brady has continued to play pretty well in the playoffs. Yes, I think Bledsoe is probably more talented but he is rusty and Brady obviously brings something to the table that Bledsoe does not.

I have heard some analysts say "well, Bledsoe can throw the ball downfield better so he will fare better in a shootout". First off, I think the Patriots probably want to at least try to avoid a shootout (doubtful, though). Secondly, throwing the ball downfield isn't a quarterback's only job. Jeff George can throw the ball downfield pretty well, would you start him over Brady just because you were going against the Rams? Uh, no.

I think Bledsoe is a great QB but Brady has earned the right to be under center on Super Bowl Sunday.

I'd start brady due to team chemistry, the playbook, etc.; however bledsoe is certainly the best backup QB in the NFL.

All you people who think bledsoe looked mediocre in the second half may have forgotten that he was up against the #1 defense in the NFL. He looked pretty sharp to me. Very accurate under pressure, good bullet pass, etc. He also drove them all the way down the field for a field goal at a critical point in the game.

But, one good game does not a starter make. Trent Green did well filling in for an injured warner a season or two ago, but no one would have claimed he deserved his job back.

Drew Bledsoe's stats in the game against Pittsburgh: 10-21, 102 yards.

That, my friend, is not sharp. Completing fewer than half his passes, for fewer than five yards per attempt is horrible. That's Trent Dilfer, circa 1997.

Brady with no doubt.

Bledsoe came off the bench and did ok, but he hasn't started in a long time. He made a couple great throws, but overall wasn't that great in the game. I think if he starts he will look out of synch and make some bad decisions. Brady is solid and consistent and gives the Pats the best chance to win.

Now if you ask me, which one I would want as my starting QB next year, I'd say Beldsoe because I think he's a proven NFL starting QB and when surrounded with quality players can win. Brady had a good season, but so has other QB's in the past that never captured that magic after their breakout season.
