I'm pretty familiar with Braddock. It's a dying shell of a town with next to no tax base and block after block of boarded-up storefronts on the main street. If you were driving through there at night, you would be tempted to just run the red lights so you didn't have to stop. It's amazing to me that they can even find someone who would want to be mayor.

The word is that the guy was trying to spit on the officer. If that's the case, I have no problem with the guy getting punched.
