Car bras can be bad just as they do good.

Just as FriedRiceBob said, they can harm your paint. Those things will trap anything that comes under em down there, and you'll probably have more problems in the long run with that than simply waxing your car. Think of it - these yummy cars don't have car bras, and they're worth more than a house. You'd figure if a car bra was actually needed on any car, the cream of the crop would at least have em.

Bras trap dirt under them. If a Bra comes loose at all and flaps even just a tiney bit it will wear the paint off your car. In my experience they often do more damage than any benefits.
