Brüno

Just got home a few minutes ago from seeing a screening of the movie

I thought some parts were HILARIOUS, like the reality show part, the swingers party, and everything else related to the baby

other parts were humorous and really funny inside but not laugh-out-loud funny

I'd be willing to see it again if friends wanted to go, but I wouldn't go out of my way to see it twice+

The Hangover was TONS funnier overall, but there were 30 second portions in Brüno that were better than any small scenes like that in the Hangover

EDIT:
Oh and by the way there is a TON of dick in the movie (meatspin for a good 10 seconds... I'm not kidding and even an improvised meatspin v2) and almost no boobs... only one set of boobs and they are nasty hooker fake boobs

From what I've seen in the trailers, not only will I NOT go see it in a theater, I won't rent it when it comes to DVD.

Borat was in the same category for me.

I don't get what people see in this kind of "humor."

You really need to have seen the Da Ali G series to get into these movies. The movie without knowing the background of teh characters is probably way over the top and you miss the subtleties that you would pick up if you were familiar with the Borat/Bruno characters from the show.

All the previews make me want to spend weeks if not months, hunting that douche down just for the few seconds of ecstasy I will have as I slowly push a drywall saw through his eye balls to the back of his skull.

This type of humor causes me loose almost all faith the in future of mankind.

If I have to watch the trash called Ali G to appreciate Sasha Cohen...then I'll never get there.

I inadvertently changed to some show that had Ali G on it...I couldn't get it changed quick enough to avoid damaging my tender ears and eyes. 😛

Ditto... I finally caved and watched Borat on DVD... Big mistake. The definition of suck. Bruno looks like Borat II: We Ran Out of Ideas

I'll pass

borat had a few good laughs...but i cant remember a single one of them, and i never wanted to watch it again.

the guy is a not-funny-enough attention whore. hes up there with will ferrell, as far as im concerned

The humor is in the reactions that Sasha brings out in people he is fucking with. That is why he plays as such ridiculous characters.....all for reaction.

you guys are lame. all 3 of his characters are absolutely hilarious

and thanks for reminding me to go buy tickets online for the midnight show tonight

it always gets old. i get it, hes going to say something nonsensical or absurd with an overblown accent. its funny for for a few minutes or better, not for well over an hour.

It's shock value humor, calm down. All in all he brings out the worst in mankind and you're shocked that anyone would actually do that on camera. He suspends disbelief enough to pull it off. E.g. lady who would cast her baby for the Hitler part, kids on spring break who are saying we should all still own slaves.

I don't think Bruno can match Borat on the wtf scale but some parts look hilarious, going to wait for it on Netflix.

I loved Borat and I really want to not be offended by this movie, but every clip I've seen from it feels like he's doing the gay version of blackface while hiding behind a "satire" mask.

Yeah, he's basically making fun of gays and getting rich doing it.
