No shit? Another plastic that's found not to be completely safe.

i use either kleen kanteen or sigg bottles, made of metal. i also do use the plastic nalgene bottles too. everything is going to kill us

I have a Klean Kanteen and it's okay. It's an insulated one and not great for hot water. I've had leaks and while the interior of the cap has a layer of steel, the outside is plastic and heats up quite a bit -- big plastic smell around the opening when I open it up.

Hydro Flask is another one I've found. Last I checked, only one cap they make has a steel interior. The default on the ones I checked were plastic in and out.

It's steel or glass for me nowadays. But certain types of glass use effing lead -- crystal glass?

The Huffington Post recently published a series of articles revealing that BPA is found in cash register receipt paper and cardboard pizza boxes

Well shit...its probably not good that I used to reheat the pizza in the box all the time to save on doing dishes...

My wife threw away all the BPA plastic baby bottles when she found out 6 years ago and replaced them with BPA-free. Well that was a waste of ~$100.

We use our Camelbak BPA-free water bottles almost every day - primarily because squeezing it means we don't have to put our germy mouths on it and wash it each day. Can't do that with glass and certainly a whole lot less convenient. 🙁

Get worried too if you get pop with those pizzas. Something about a plastic lining in the aluminum cans.

Mother Jones magazine published an article about this a few months ago. There is even a debate over whether BPA free Eastman Tritan has estrogenic effects.

Just don't buy metal containers made in china.... lead, uranium-238, mercury... who knows what they make those from.
But I hear that cadmium is good at resisting corrosion. That sounds like just the thing that stainless steel needs to give it that extra competitive edge.

And I might have to finally buy a paper shredder and stop disposing of my old receipts by eating them.

Most people don't use soy formula--and it would be no surprise that soy formula would increase estrogen levels.
You've clearly not received adequate funding from the soy industry. Soy is safe. End of story. Nothing to see here. Move along. Eat soy.

I'm going to stick with my cow stomach canteen.
