I remember watching Bozo in the 60s and 70s, was not bad for what it was.

looks like I actually never saw this bozo as the one I remember was out of Chicago. did not realize this was a franchise and not syndicated.

As a kid growing up in Boston, Frank Avruch was THE one and only Bozo. And so much more important than Major Mudd or Rex Trailer.

Babysitter forced me to watch Bozo in late '80s / early '90s. I hated it.

At least I know that was the influence for Krusty the Clown in The Simpsons.

There have been deaths in my life, and this one truly is important to me too. I know Frank would have no problem with my appreciation of the seltzer I got hit with on his way out. It's pretty salty and seems to be coming from the inside corners of my eyes.

Bozo and many others kept/keep me in stitches. Sorry, gratitude seems like a flimsy word for that much fun.
