Boy *Yawns* During Bush Speech

BDawg

Lifer
Didn't see anything when I searched for yawn.

Video Clip

ROFLMAO!!!

Not so much politically motivated as just funny. I love the part where he cracks his neck.

Not so much politically motivated as just funny........

Yeah right.

Since I was forced to attend Church as a child, I witnessed many people, young and old, yawning during the services. Didn't really think it was funny, but evidently you amuse easily. I'll remember that if we ever meet IRL not to wear any shiny objects lest you become hypnotized.......

Geez...what's up in Florida?? Did you see the other news links on that page?!

UCF President Apologizes For Wearing Afro Wig

Damn . . . talk about humorless hack.

I'm not sure what a tired Bush stump speech has in common with a sermon. I think the biggest contrast is at least the minister was telling the truth.

Thnx, BDawg . . . that was funny.

I think the faux partisan outrage over how unfunny this is (from our friends bozack and Corn) is even funnier than the clip. And the clip is pretty damn funny. 😀

I was listening to Randi Rhodes on the new Air America station the other day and here's her explanation:

Everything happens in Florida because it shaped like big, giant penis. A big, giant penis with no testicles. I should know, I lived there.

never said anything about "outrage", man you libs are sensitive...but rather as Conjur pointed out, with all of the other "real crap" going on down there you would think they wouldn't have time for garbage like this....but I guess someone low on the totem pole has to cover something.

Uhh, you're the one that's sensitive dude. That's why I called it "faux" outrage (sorry for using a french word)...

Ha ha. Agreed 🙂 But we're getting close to that season again.

Oh yeah, don't forget BaliBabyDoc's quote :

Ha ha. Pick your battles people 😉

What's wrong with my sig? I thought "harvest day sucks" to be humorous and witty.........

.....and FYI, I found the other quotes in my sig amusing enough to put 'em there for all you kind hearted P&Ner's to enjoy.

What's even funnier is that the WH basically accused Dave of altering the video...saying that it was all a hoax. It was only after Dave called them all liars did they say "Oh, sorry. You're right, it isn't a hoax."

Jebus, you know this admin is bad when they'll take something as insignificant as this and try to lie and smear. What will they do (have they done) when something big and significant comes along.

You know how some people get when Bush gets portrayed as something other than the second coming of jesus...

Hehe - ummm - no, that was CNN's mistake. I guess one needs to inform themselves right Gaard?😉

Here - read the section about CNN being red faced😉

Hey, gimme a break. I've been home less than an hour - not enough time to catch up on the news.

I think it may be time for a little vacation. I'm getting sick of CAD constantly foiling perfectly good rants.

I can't believe people are reading a political attack into this. The speaker could be any politician giving a long dull speach. Face it, when you're 13, all speaches not involving the word "Nintendo" are dull.

The funny part about it is a boy who was put out in front of a televised crowd being bored to death.

Oh, and this from the Republican who's son was on stage.

Chairman Crotty told Local 6 News Thursday that he was afraid that Letterman's skit would hurt his son's feelings, but the boy thought it was hysterical.

"What we had was a few yawns, a few looking at the watches over a 45-minute period, and Letterman had that edited down to a 30-second piece and frankly it was hysterical," Crotty said.

Crotty said his son was tired during the rally because he was so excited to see the president.

"Tyler was very excited about seeing the president," Crotty said. "He stayed up tossing and turning all night in anticipation, and then, of course, I had to drag him out of bed at 6:30 in the morning."

Crotty, who is a strong Bush backer, said next time his son will sit next to him.
