Religious zealots are so ignorant. Their God is the only God worth knowing/worshiping. Rev. Arnold Conrad at a McCain rally mentions in a prayer "God in your word you say you bring them up and down (from power)" (paraphrasing mind you). This idiot doesn't even know what "The Word of God" is. To him its an inanimate book. I really wanna strangle fools like this. Ignorance! Then to top it off he basically says that people who don't believe as they do (McCain supporters) will think their "God" won in some idiotic sense of stupidity. Please, I tried to have plenty of disussions with religious zealots when I was younger, attentively listening to their points and trying to make mine. Now, I just don't bother.

One thing I've noticed about Religious zealots is that they can't properly think for themselves, which is why they are frustrating to argue with. Religion shores up their intellectual insecurity because they are too weak to come up with their own ideas of what is right and wrong.

How many true communists were willing to talk back in the day? All I read about is the thousands of political opponents inside and outside the party that were silenced for their beliefs.

Political ideology and religion are nearly the same damn thing. Only one has a ficticious god who is believed needs to be prayed to in order to enter the gates of heaven. While the other has earthly gods that need to be prayed to in order to open the gates of living hell on earth.
