I'm of the opinion that if little Gary is really going to hang himself after losing playstation privileges, then the world is better off without his sorry little ass.

I read the stories earlier about the kids hanging themselves in a "game" of some sort, all BS. There's no such game, when I was young we certainly didn't try to hang ourselves to get high or anything. It's just an excuse to not have to say "The kid comitted suicide. He hated his life because he was a brat and hung himself."

Stupid kid.

Honestly, parents need to discipline their kids these days.

They did, and then he hung himself. 😕

Should have done it before he learned about hanging. Like, starting when he undoubtedly begged and screamed in a public place to get the damn playstation in the first place.

Uhh, that story wasn't BS, and neither is the "pass out" game. I've known friends who've done it, well usually not to get high but to actually pass out and get out of school for one reason or another.

The way they did it though was too squat down, put your head between your legs and hyperventilate for 2 minutes. Then stand up really fast and press on your own corotid artery for a second. Usually, just barely touching it would pass someone out. Just make sure someone is there to catch you. You come back after around 5-15 minutes depending on who you are. Just have someone run and grab a teacher and they'll send you to the nurse real fast and then home for being "sick."

Note, I'm not advocating this, but kids REALLY DO THIS CRAP.

A lot of people here harp about irresponsible parents who don't put their foot down. Well, apparently things do go awry sometimes when parents simply take away the gaming.

sucks. cute little kid too. 🙁

youngsters really don't know the consequences for their actions nowadays. it's rather sad.

I think the consequences of killing yourself should be pretty well known by the age of 12
