It's been less than a week. -_-;

And in any case, the cop had a concussion. How did he get that again? Just because you think the kid had no intent to kill the cop doesn't mean he didn't have the potential to do so. Unless you can think of a reasonable way out of the mess in that situation, the cop did what he had to do.

I can't believe I just read this whole thing... it just goes around and around in circles: most people agree it was sad but had to be done, then someone plays the devil's advocate and a bit of sparring breaks out, someone goes into something vaguely unrelated, then the people who didn't read the thread start it all over again.
