I love how we can consider a child to be an adult in a case like this, but then still see statutory rape cases for 18 year olds having sex with 16 year olds.
Children don't think the same way that adults do...there are good reasons that you have to be 18 to make pretty much any major choice on your own. I really don't think it makes sense to try him as an adult.
