I could have been fired working at a public university for taking post it notes worth a buck and having no national security impacts. Just casually haul clearance level documents to your gaudy private resort and crickets.

The Republican Party will never hear of this unless Fox carries it.

The Repub party and its membership have managed to carve out of the nation's democracy their own individual fascist states, where their news comes from a single source, their propaganda comes from media sources controlled by the state, they have admitted Nazis in their ranks that are freely allowed to express their racist dogma, thy have their own militia groups that are willing and able to provide armed assistance for a complete takeover of the gov't, of which there already was an attempt made and plans are in effect to cheat their way to victories in all future elections being held in the nation.

It's all there in plain sight, the GOP leadership is not saying a single syllable in disagreement to any of it. In fact their leadership is out and about making half-ass excuses for their anti-gov't agents including the ones that executed the Jan.6 insurrection. Their legislators are either silent about or actually fomenting anti-gov't anti-democracy activities that they see as their only way to force the majority of the nation into compliance with their desire to spread the fascism they created in the states under their control to the whole nation via the takeover of Congress, the USSC and the presidency.

Where is the FBI investigation? Wouldn't it be illegal to posses still classified documents after leaving the White House?

Well if we know one thing that both the press and the Republican Party care deeply about it’s document retention policy for former officials so I’m sure this will cause an uproar.
Its fine though if you rip them up and tape them back together..

What was the difference between this and what Clinton did? And that prompted a FBI investigation.

edit: the difference is Hillary wasnt investigated for violating the Presidential Records Act for one.

Unless Biden acts like a spoiled brat, don't believe he's revoked the orange monkey's security clearance. So as long he's not publicly displaying any classified material, this issue is something to just move on from. Far worse acts that needs immediate attention.

But, I thought ti was even illegal to store classified info in certain places. Doesn't he have cleaners etc. who don't have clearance? But my point is that a big deal was made when Hilary Clinton did something similar, fairness demands that Trump get equal treatment.

This was from Comey's Clinton statement:

"Our investigation looked at whether there is evidence classified information was improperly stored or transmitted on that personal system, in violation of a federal statute making it a felony to mishandle classified information either intentionally or in a grossly negligent way, or a second statute making it a misdemeanor to knowingly remove classified information from appropriate systems or storage facilities."

This seems more than similar circumstances, in fact Trump's seems worse. At the least an investigation is warranted, if it was good enough for Hilary it should be good enough for Trump.

Didn't Ivanka do the same thing without consequence?
