Boxed in a Dodge Magnum in parking lot today

First, a quick back story.

I work for an employer with 8000+ employees. Parking sucks. The spots themselves are small and hard to come by (especially near the buidlings).

So, today I found a spot relatively close to the buildings, I was firly happy. A tight fit, but big enough for my truck, barely. Normally, I'd consider parking elsewhere and letting a car take the spot later on. But I WAS PISSED! Why?

The layout essentially went fence -> Magnum -> me -> jeep

The gap between the Magnum and the fence was atleast 5 feet! He was parked right in the middle of the stripe for the parking spots taking up two spots. I had to park on a slight diagonal jsut to get in. But this F'er in the Magnum. There is NO WAY he's opening his driver's side door. He gets to crawl through his passenger side door. And when I opened my door, I had to hit his car with my door. There was no way around it. I didn't try leaving a mark/scratch and don't think I did, but if I did, I really could care less.

RRrrrr. So, how did your day start?

Own truck, could care less. Cover scratch using turtle wax to prevent rust...profit.

White Dodge Magnum. Gee, I wonder what "someone" would do to that car if seen again? Not very popular you know 😉

No, you see, I don't care if I scratched it. I was careful in my attemp NOT to scratch it. Just that if I did, so be it.

It's jsut het metnallity that pisses me off about a-holes like this. He thinks he has a "fancy" car. It's not. I think he took up two spots intentionally. And in a place where parking sucks, it's 100% disrespectful of EVERY other employee at the company.

not trying to be an ass...but how do you know what this person thinks? do you know him in person or something? and if you do say something to the prick 😛

I would have parked directly behind him and made it impossible for him to get out.

I hate pricks who take up two spots. Or worse, park in your assigned spot.

The Magnum took two spots. Taking an end spot and parking as far over as possible is cool. Taking two spots is NOT cool.

Why don't you leave an anonymous note telling the driver of the magnum how disrespectful he or she is. Then proceed to let out all the air in the tires.

EXACTLY! You can put a passenger side door 6 inches away from the fence if not getting dinged is your convern, leaving several feat of space between you and whoever takes the negihboring spot.
