BOWLING: racial overtones or not?

gopunk

Lifer
inspired by a comedy central sketch...

think about it... you have a big black ball, knocking down whities with red necks.

ahahahahhahaha! never thought of it that way actually. so why is it that bowling is dominated by whites???

😀

Because it's not a real sport.

ahahahahah....Russ you crack me up...😀

One of my balls is purple, the other is green.

Bowling balls you fruit cake.

Man, that guy has been doing that act forever. That and the joke about the green olives being in a jar, while black olives are in a can. He needs some new stuff.

<< So I guess hockey's not a real sport either, eh? >>

Don't ever let me see this statement again!!!!!!

Hockey takes the most skill out of any professional sport! Well maybe besides baseball (as dull and boring as it is to watch).

There's what... about 7 black players and a couple Koreans in hockey... so it's not total domination by whites. 😉

how many of them are not carrying towels? 😉

The only reason hockey is still dominated by white boys is because there's a lot more money to be made in the big three.

Also because hockey players play because they love their sport, not as a way to get out of the ghetto and make a bunch of money and still become criminals.

What about billiards? You use a WHITE ball to hit the COLORED balls. The YELLOW ball gets out first, while the BLACK ball gets hit last.

😛

This just goes to prove the theory that you can use statistics to show anything you want.

It is all in the presentation. :disgust:

I don't know the percentages of bowler's races, but I can safely say that LOTS of black people bowl. It all depends on where you are.
A hell of a lot more than play tennis or golf.

I've been to a lot of tournaments, and I'll agree that there are more whites bowling overall, it isn't like golf or tennis where you almost never see black people.

<<bowling is a great game

but i don't consider it a sport >>

What constitutes being a sport? Is running necessary? Jumping?

Do you consider baseball a sport? Look at some of the players. Big guts, couldn't run a mile if they had to, slower than the earth, but they're strong and have great hand/eye coordination so they can hit.

There are tougher sports than bowling, but if bowling was easy, there'd be no pro tour. Try bowling 60 games in 4 days under pressure. You have to have strong legs, arm, back, and great hand/eye coordination.

Same as lots of sports.
