um better get an nforce4 board and a pcie 6800gt

also for heatsink fan, get the thermalright xp-120 with a panaflo fan or something, should be silent.

also for PSU, get a pcpower and cooling unit.

not sure about using 1gb sticks as well.

also 2 raptors in raid 0 will be mentioned as an option as well

RAID0 = bad, but go with an nforce4 with a pci-e6800GT like tyrant said. and watch it if you get an xp-120, they are incompatable with a lot of motherboards because of their size, id go with the XP-90 or the coolermaster hyper 6 to be on the safe side.

if you're OCing go for the MSI Neo2 Platinum mobo, if not get the Asus A8V

based on reading up in various forums - no experience. just circulating what i've heard. i'd love to be able to afford that combo but i like mine too. :)

All I have to $ay is Wow! Nice $y$tem. And a very cool box! If I had to build a dream $y$tem right now that'$ what I would build. With the exception of the graphic$ card and DVD burner. I'm think a burner with an 8mb buffer would be nicer for the money you're $pending. And I would get a 6800 GT

That Case is so damn ugly, I have a black wavemaster and its super sleek but the yellow just makes it look like his case got into a fight with a taxi. I have the monitor too, and I love it
