should I change any of these settings?

Dram ecc cheacking = disabled
typematic rate setting = disabled
typematic rate (chars/sec) = 6
typematic delay (msec) = 250

I think I have set everything else up right just not sure about these.

The typematic rate should not affect seti. That is just for keyboard input. (now watch someone prove me wrong, hell, everytime I post someone burns me..LOL)

The important settings are related to use of cache, such as bios cachable, video rom cachable, etc. You should DISABLE all of those because they occupy valuable cache space. Obviously, memory timings should also be as fast a possible.
