I saw this movie in theatre, and I loved it. I watched it before the first one though, and when I went back and watched the DVD of Bourne ID, I was kinda leaning towards the 2nd one.

I was actually impressed that Matt Damon could pull off a believable spy/tough guy. But he did a bang-up (or should i say CRASH UP muaahah) job. Maybe he should have been Daredevil too, instead of Affleck. Affleck is such a weak DD.

Affleck is a weak actor, and very much overrated, in my opinion. Matt Damon is much better in just about any role.

I saw the movie whenever it came out in theaters and that camera shaking thing got to be annoying as hell. I don't think I can stand to watch the movie again simply because of that.

Matt Damon >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Ben Affleck

the question should by why the whole fucken movie shakes all the time. Car chase, shake is acceptable. Fight fight, shake is partially acceptable. Zoom in on picture of love interest or drinking tea on a sunny day, shake isn't acceptable.

I agree. It was a bit distracting.

On the airbag issue: I agree that the cab did not need the airbags, but the Russian secret service guy in the SUV should have had the airbags deploy on him.

I was puking right after the movie ended, it shakes so badly :| I wonder why they have to make the movie jerked so much. BTW what kind of camera style is this in movie lingo?

I think it started after Saving Private Ryan. Gives a sense of realism in how the audience has to look away fro mthe screen to enjoy the movie.

Even with Saving Private Ryan it was only used during battle scene and used quite well for dramatic effects. In Bourne Supremacy it was used all of the time and lost it's dramatic appeal because of heavy use.

LOL the shaking camera style is pretty much on during the whole movie. The director want audience to look away the entire movie?

EDIT: The Bourne Supremacy would be better than Bourne Identity if it doesn't have this kind of camera style. Too bad, I would've collected both DVDs otherwise. Can't stand to re-watch the second one unless I want to puke again.

uhm..i could have sworn it was a bmw.

I'm also pretty sure the taxi cab was a bmw, but it looked more like the older 3 series to me, or maybe they make different models for the Russian market. It was definitely much too small to be a 7. I'm guessing that buying Mercedes, etc., for the Russian police departments and secret service would be a lot cheaper than buying them in America.

As far as the airbags, even if they are standard in Russia, it would have messed up the scene.

The shaking of the camera was really only bothersome in a couple scenes. It wasn't enough to diminish my enjoyment of the movie. And I don't think stating that there is a car chase and people crash is really a spoiler at all.

I have to say I liked both Bourne movies except for the fact that they really have nothing to do with the books. I guess Robert Ludlum needed some quick cash.
